Workshop sketchnotes – Gerry McGovern
Our first Intranet Now workshop sold out quickly, forcing us to find a larger venue, and then it sold out again and again. Evidently, Gerry McGovern attracts a savvy crowd. We eventually settled on a nice venue and filled the room with over 40 people.
Yes, ‘Intranet Now‘ started as a grassroots conference in 2014, but is now an annual conference and an intranet workshop company. Brian and I have several workshops in the pipeline, plus we’re really excited about the October conference.
I was sat with Carolyne Mitchell, Team Leader of South Lanarkshire Council’s Digital Team. Carolyne offered to write about Gerry’s workshop for Rachel Miller, so you should pop and read that for the full skinny.
Alternatively, you could check my live notes that I made during the day. They’re messy, but might capture some insight (or, if you attended, remind you what happened).

Self-service is the buzzword for intranet & website but most content isn't fit-for-purpose without an expert to interpret. #intranetnow
